Scientific Method

Here is something I drew from memory as I talked to my preschooler about how we do a science activity.

This is the scientific method but I call it a science inquiry, as it involves quite a few steps for us to make a conclusion based on what we found.  An inquiry is an investigation or research and that is exactly how we should conduct a science experiment. As you know by now after reading my other blog-posts that I strongly encourage the questioning skills in a child. This skill is essential to learning anything, anywhere and anytime. I got my teacher training with a focus on inquiry and love to use that with all my lessons. Anyhow, try a question-based approach to your child's learning and you will be amazed by the results!
