Today, we went on a scavenger hunt to collect fall leaves. We came back with tons of leaves. So, we did a couple of art projects with a little bit of paint, glue, leaves and creativity!
1. Leaf Collage - for this activity we glued leaves on paper so that we could paint around the leaves with splashes of fall colors. After the painting dried, we peeled the leaves off to create a leaf shape imprint.

2. Fall Abstract Art - for this activity we drew abstract shapes on paper with pencil and then painted them. After it dried we outlined the shapes with markers to give it a more defined look.

3. Fall Window - for this activity we wanted to create a picture frame with a painting inside. The painting represents the fall weather and grey clouds. So, we made a frame by outlining a large shape in the center of a page and glued fall leaves around that shape/frame. After the glue had dried, we painted inside the frame with fall weather colors (greys, purples, and blues).

This is the final result after we added glitter for some fun!
